Chaplaincy

Ciaran Coughlan

Chaplaincy is a drop-in, open door service provided year round for all students of Maynooth University and St. Patrick’s College Maynooth. The Chaplain is part of the wider Student Support Services team and can provide a link to other services available to students.

The Chaplain is here for students in a number of ways. Chaplaincy provides a supportive, non-judgemental ear to all students of all faiths and none. Chaplaincy offers conversation, support, and companionship through your time in University and offers a safe space to explore spirituality and faith.

It’s important to acknowledge that at times during your journey through University, all you need is someone to talk to.

Above all, the Chaplaincy service is there for you no matter the topic or time, just drop in and say hi or have a chat. If we can’t help, we know someone who can.

The Chaplain is located in Room 49 in the Arts Block on the North Campus and is available Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm all year round.
