Postgraduate Applications - Updated 13/08/20

Higher Diploma Theological Studies: The closing date for this course has been extended until Friday 18th September.

Making your application to the Higher Diploma Theological Studies:

As staff are working from home and do not currently have access to printers & scanners, to help ease administrative workload, we would ask that applications be sent as one complete PDF document, not as separate pages. There are some free scanning apps which will help you do this from your preferred mobile device, such as, for example, Adobe Scanner and Genius Scan. Please save your file under First Name /Last name / Course title. When sending your headshot photo, please save it under your full name and name of programme you're applying for, i.e. "first name _surname HDip Th"

We understand that scanning documents may not be possible in every instance however, and welcome your application in whatever electronic form is manageable. Should the only option be to send your application by post, please send only one copy (not the three copies requested on the application form) and ensure to inform the admissions office by email to expect your application in the post.

In the event where an applicant is unable to edit the PDF application forms found on our website, application forms in Word format are available on request, by sending an email to Barbara Mahon at admissions@spcm.ie. Please clearly state which course you are applying for.

International Postgraduate Applicants - updated 26/06/20

The health & safety of all our students continues to be our priority and we are working to deliver programmes ensuring we can adhere to social distancing protocols. As regards quarantine/self isolatation on arrival for International students, this is possible but the details have not been confirmed.

The visa offices in some countries reopened on 22nd June. Specific country updates can be found on these websites: VFS or INIS

Undergraduate Applicants

It is expected that the new term will begin on Monday 28th September, with orientation taking place the week before.

Erasmus Applicants

Please send all nominations and subsequent application forms by email only. As staff are working remotely, and there are disruptions in on-campus post delivery, there are inevitably long delays in hard-copy documentation sent by post being received. If you have already sent an application by post which has not .been acknowledged, please contact the Admissions Office to alert them, at admissions@spcm.ie

As for new incoming undergraduate students, It is expected that the new term will begin on Monday 28th September, with orientation taking place the week before.
