The Dean of Philosophy, Prof. Thomas Casey has published a reflection on existentialist philosopher Jean Paul Sartre's Christmas play of 1940, written for priests with whom he was a prisoner. Therein Sartre shows remarkable insight into Mary's relationship to Christ, and betrays a deep awareness of the faith of those Christians who were prisoners with him.
