Module Aims

This course aims to explore the central dimensions in understanding Jesus Christ in the light of his life, death and resurrection as proclaimed in the faith and life of the Church.

Learning Outcomes

• — At the end of the course, the student will: • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the identity of Jesus Christ in the light of Scripture and Tradition • Appreciate the centrality of the Paschal Mystery in Christology • Understand the meaning of Redemption • Know the issues in Christology that marked the first millennium of the Church • Be familiar with Medieval and Reformation Christologies • e able to analyse contemporary Christological issues • Be informed of the significant writings in modern Christology
