College Foundation Day 2011
It was the May holiday on Monday, 2nd May, and the weather cooperated fully for the celebration of Foundation Day 2011. The families of the Seminarians were invited to join us for the day, and a great attendance was recorded.
Many arrived for the Mass at 12.00 p.m. in the College Chapel where the Mass of Farewell was celebrated for the Fourth Divine Students. This was followed with lunch in Pugin Hall, and in the afternoon, tours of the College were conducted by the students, while others visited the Museum or the Swimming Pool. A bouncing castle was to be found in the park, and while a few seminarians were found there, it was mainly the focus of the under-10's.
The highlight of the day was the annual 'Past v Present Soccer Match in Highfield, and this was followed with the barbeque.

And Padraig accepts the Donal Flynn Man of the Match award from the Flynn family.
