This is a two year NUIM course, designed to provide students who already possess a third level qualification, with a qualification in Philosophy. The course is open to any student who satisfies the entry requirements, viz. a third-level qualification in any subject or combination.

The programme will involve eight hours of lectures and one tutorial per week in year one, and seven hours of lectures and one tutorial per week in year two. Students will second year.

On Successful completeion of the HDip students can apply to be considered for the BPhil examination.
