Continuous assessment: 20% Final examination: 80% Students who maintain an average of 70% in their continuous assessments are deemed to have qualified, and do not have to sit the final examination.

Module Aims

To introduce theology students to the study of Biblical Greek

Learning Outcomes

  • At the end of the course, the student will: • Be familiar and comfortable with reading and writing the Greek alphabet • Be familiar with the basics of Biblical Greek morphology and syntax • Have acquired a core vocabulary of Biblical Greek • Be able to translate certain basic New Testament texts
